What is the shelf life of your soups?
Refrigerate: Our soups must be refrigerated as we use no preservatives or shelf stabilizers. They will maintain their freshness in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
Freezer: If you do not want to eat your soup immediately, they can be stored frozen and will remain fresh for 8 months. We recommend you do not wait that long for this chowder goodness! :)
How do I prepare the soup? Why sous-vide?
Recommended - heat in sous-vide pouch:
We deliver our chowders in easy to use sous-vide packages for your convenience. Our pouches are BPA free and are 100% food safe.

We recommend that you place the sous-vide pouch directly in a pot with water, heat it on medium heat and enjoy. It is quick, simple, and safe. This method eliminates any risk of overcooking, holds in the complex flavors, and retains the vitamins and nutrients that are packed into each of our soups.
Alternative cooking method:
You can also open the sous vide pouch and place the chowder directly in a pot, cooking on stove top medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Are the sous vide bags eco-friendly?
Our sous vide pouches are BPA free and take 66% less energy to produce than one 16oz glass jar. Additionally, the heating of the sous vide bag using water is more efficient than traditional warming methods.
What makes your clam chowders so good?
Our chef-made recipes are unique in that they keep the integrity of an age-old tradition, yet supplement some of the fattier ingredients *such as heavy cream.. for healthier ones. We are also in the aquaculture business, and know the farmers that we work with so you are receiving the freshest clams everytime.

Since our soups must be kept cold, our amazing blends must move from our kitchen to yours within two days. Due to this time constraint, we can currently only ship to the following 11 states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Where do you source your clams and vegetables?
All of our clams are sourced locally from Florida shellfish farmers. No pesticides or antibiotics are used in the rearing of shellfish. It is an entirely organic process from start to finish.
All of our vegetables are also sourced from sustainable farms.

Are your soups lactose free, nut free, or soy free?
All of our soups are nut free and soy free.
Tropical Clam Chowder and Manhattan Clam chowder are both Lactose-free seeing as they both substitute the heavy cream for coconut milk.
